We planned a wedding venue which was 7 hours from our home-in June-during 100 degree weather.  Obviously, we had a great deal of issues with which to contend.  I contracted with Elegant Events (which was a little over one hour from our venue), giving Shalamar a sketchy menu.  She gave me a quote, and some very good ideas.  The evening of the wedding was hot, and we held our reception outdoors.  Not only did Shalamar and her team arrive in time to set up, the food was remarkable (I highly recommend the rubbed pork loin), but they left the kitchen cleaner than when they arrived, and served in a very professional manner.  I had quotes from at least 4 other companies, but Elegant Events provided a superior dinner, at a reasonable cost, and with a beautiful presentation.  I am recommending them to anyone in, or near,  the San Antonio area!!!!
